"Himba Woman"
Original and hand-sculpted from Polymer Clay

The Himba people are a semi-nomadic tribe who have lived in northern Namibia for centuries.
The Himba women are known for their unique beauty and distinctive traditional aesthetic, which reflects their deep connection to the land and their ancestral culture.Their hair and skin are their most characteristic features: the women cover their bodies with a mixture of ghee, red ochre, and aromatic resin called otjize. This mixture protects their skin from the sun and insects, and also gives it that bright reddish hue that symbolizes life, fertility, and the earth.
